Timberline Riding Stable is located minutes from Timberline Four Season Resort and Hotel in the beautiful and scenic Canaan Valley, WV.
Timberline Stables provides an excellent opportunity to get back to the way things use to be. We offer a variety of rides in a family friendly atmosphere.
Plan a full day, half day, or an hour ride with one of our professional guides. You will experience breathtaking views from Timberline Trails.
The 2013 Timberline Stables Horse Camp will be held June 24-28Time: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM each day, Monday through Friday.
Participants must be between 6 and 12 years of age. Participants will learn:
Basic Horse Anatomy and Care
Basic Tack Care and Use
Riding Instruction will be individualized based on each camper's level
The cost of Camp is 500.00 for the week. If siblings are signed up, the cost will be 500.00 for the first
camper and 375.00 for each additional camper. Campers must pack a lunch Monday through Thursday.
A celebratory lunch will be provided on Friday. Campers should bring a bottle of water each day.
The bottles can be refilled at the Stable as needed.
Campers must wear closed toed shoes and long pants each day. Riding helmets will be provided by
Timberline Stables, but if campers have their own helmets, they are welcome to bring them.
Campers should have a light jacket each day. Campers should have sunscreen applied throughout
the day. Timberline Stables will provide sunscreen for any camper who needs it.

Sleigh RidesTake in the beauty of Timberline Resort and surrounding area from our horse drawn sleigh! Our sleigh is equipped to go smoothly on snow or roads, when the snow is not deep. We provide blankets and treats for your ride. Each ride lasts about an hour and costs 125.00. The sleigh will hold four adults or two adults and a mix of kids per ride. If you have a large group, call for other options!

Dinner Sleigh RidesWe also offer dinner rides . . . You can be picked up at your Timberline rental house and taken to and from your dinner. Rides to Timbers Pub and Fireside Grill are 150.00. Rides to White Grass Café are 175.00. Arrive at one of these fine restaurants in style, enjoy your dinner and then be picked up once again to return to your cozy cabin or house.
